The QMP film project began in a time where the stories of trans and queer, Black Jews, Indigenous Jews, Jews of Color and disabled Jews were largely invisible in Jewish and media spaces. In time, this has shifted a bit. The pandemic and the George Floyd uprisings brought deepening consciousness about the needs for more equity in the Jewish community. We still have a ways to go but the wheels are now turning.
